BARLOON.CO is a government relations and public policy consulting firm established by Bill Barloon in 2020 to support legislative and regulatory initiatives in the U.S. Congress and the Executive Branch.
EXPERIENCE
Barloon, who previously served as Vice President of Government Affairs at Sprint, started the firm following the successful completion of its contested merger with T-Mobile. At Sprint, Barloon led the companies legislative and political advocacy in the states and the U.S. Congress, and represented Sprint’s interests before the White House and Executive Branch. He also Chaired Sprint’s employee political action committee – SprintPAC. During his extensive career Barloon managed dozens of lobbying firms giving him first-hand knowledge on how consultants should be effectively utilized to ensure their client’s goals and objectives are met.
Barloon led numerous legislative and regulatory initiatives in Congress on a range of diverse issues including corporate matters; mergers & acquisitions; competition policy; 5G wireless investment; and spectrum management.
Barloon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. He served on the Board of Directors of the Computer and Communications Industry Association (CCIA) from 2012 to 2020 and the Missouri/Kansas Forum.
